How long have you been on DeviantArt? What does your username mean?
Eleven years and counting.
Britt is my nickname. Demesne means domain. I see my art page as my domain. Since I was an avid Heretic / Hexen player, I liked the names of the various stages and locations. It also helped that I communicated with three people from Ravensoft via email and they answered my questions, one of them was where they found the names that they gave to the stages they created for their games. "From reading lots of books from different genres, especially fiction and horror. Various books written by Stephen King also help."
Demesne is pronounced as [dih-meyn] or [dih-meen]
Describe yourself in three words.
Quirky, temperamental, and plays with ideas way too much.

Righty for life baby.
What was your first deviation?
I honestly for the life of me cannot remember what my first deviation even was.
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Fanart, ceramics, and whatever I do in Photoshop. Creating cosplay accessories for cosplay is also a hobby for me.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Painting - hands down.
What was your first favourite?

Probably digital art.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Most of the people here have offered so much in terms of ideas and their creativity. Therefore, it's difficult for me to pick an artist.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Same answer as the one that I left for the who is my all time favorite deviant artist question.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Good ol' pencil and paper, and Youtube music. Also, my own bare hands.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Within my twisted little brain. Then it goes onto paper. Sometimes I like the pictures I take and they can be my next idea like these images below.
that I turned into this.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
When I submitted my first ever five or so images and got a lot of faves in a few seconds.

Another year older, and maybe a little wiser.
I did say, maybe. ** The jury is still out on that decision. =p ** Whatever sort of cold that I caught is still being a damn nuisance, but I'm still kicking. Art will come whenever. (Two WIP's have been in Limbo for a year now. ...whoops.) For those that don't drop into DeviantArt as much, have a nice Christmas!
Another 365 days later..
..and, I'm another year older again! This time, I have two birthday cakes! Also, if anyone wants to post their birthdays, type up those journals. Those DeviantArt Birthday notifications aren't as awesome at notifying people as they used to be. Also, this knucklehead typing up this journal tends to forget birthdays too. Otherwise, have a nice Christmas season filled with whatever you *legally* want to do, but be sure to love on your families too. And yup, I'm still working on those pictures.
